Kermit Lake Gore of Gray passed away December 25, 2013 at the Coliseum Medical Center in Macon. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 28 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with interment in Dodges Chapel cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 27 at the funeral home.

The Rev. Terry Hedden will officiate.

Mr. Gore, 74, was the son of the late Willard Pickney and Mary Magdalene Housand Gore and was married to Judy Clements Gore of Gray. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Debbie Gore and a brother, Kent Smith.

He had retired from Keebler in Macon and was in the Army National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Gore of Gray; 1 son, Kermit A. (Karen) Gore of Gray; 3 grandchildren, Spencer Gore, Kaley Gore and Madelyn Gore; brothers and sisters, Glenda (Carlton) Burnett of Lumber City, Sammy (Sherry) Smith of Lumber City, Gary R. (Jan) Smith of Lumber City, William W. (Marie) Smith of Alamo and Donna (Ronnie) Jones of Lumber City.
