Funeral services for Mr. Kellis Simuel Roberson, age 72, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 25, 2019 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial to follow at Fishing Creek Cemetery. Rev. Troy Maddox and Rev. Stanley Steverson will officiate.

Mr. Roberson was born March 16, 1947 in McRae, Georgia; he was preceded in death by his parents, the late Sumel Roberson and Carolyn Ivey Roberson. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served with the United States Army. He was employed for many years as a general foreman, project manager and job superintendent with the CCC Group and was a member of Greater Vision Church. Mr. Roberson passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 following a brief illness.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kay Roberson of McRae-Helena, a son, Dustin Roberson of McRae-Helena, two daughters, Tamanie (Kenny) Jones of Rentz and Tiffanie (Troy) Maddox of Alamo, four grandchildren, Alex (Caroline) Jones, Alyssa Jones, Kimberlee Maddox and Tripp Maddox, three brothers, Clifton (Kathy) Roberson, Marlon Roberson and Jarvis (Sam) Roberson, two sisters, Bikie Johnson and Drusilla Merritt and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Sunday, November 24, 2019 at the funeral home.
