Joyce Wynell Ellerd Yeomans

Joyce Wynell Ellerd Yeomans, 87 of Lumber City, passed away Tuesday, December 07, 2021 at Dogwood Gardens Senior Living in Eastman. She is preceded in death by her husband William Julian Yeomans and parents Carl Ellerd and Velma Ellerd.

Ms. Yeomans was born in Moultrie and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mt. Galilee Baptist Church.

Ms. Yeomans is survived by her 4 children, Herbert (Rebecca) Yeomans of Bogart, Sharon (David) Bass of Lumber City, Michael (Teresa) Yeomans of Jacksonville, Kevin (Krista) Yeomans of Covington; 14 Grandchildren; 16 Great-Grandchildren; 1 Sister, Jewell Young of Trenton, FL., 1 Brother, Carl Lee Ellerd Jr. of Lawrence, KS.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The funeral service will also be in the Chapel at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 11, 2021 with burial at Telfair Memorial Gardens. Rev. Sam Holland will officiate.

The family will be accepting flowers but ask that any donations be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 55338, McRae- Helena, GA 31055.

It is respectfully asked that all in attendance wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines.
