Joyce Durden Mills, 79, of Helena, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 in the Lumber City Nursing Home.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Pittman, Parents Jasper William (JW) Durden and Florine Briley Durden and brother Tommy Durden. She was a retired employee of Husqvarna and a member of McRae Church of God.

Joyce was survived by her children, Mitchell Mills of Orchard Hills, Belinda (Ed) Cook of McRae and Tonya (Nolen) Redmon of Helena; Grandchildren Alisha (Benny) Livingston of McRae, Racquel (Daniel) Price of Williamson, Samantha (Blake) Clark of Glenwood, Wesley Redmon of Helena and Phillip Cooner of Zephyrhills, Fl; 13 Great-Grandchildren Gracie, Brooklynn, Hunter, Makala, Kyler, Hayden, Holden, Logan, Laylah, Jackson, Gunner, Hadlee Jo and Myla ; Sister – Sue (Harvey) Bright of Glenwood.

A celebration of life service will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Lowes Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Joiner and Mr. Mark Lewis officiating, burial will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
