Joseph Eugene "Gene" Reynolds

Joseph Eugene Reynolds, 79, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at Altamaha Healthcare Center in Jesup, Georgia. Born on Sunday, October 1, 1944, in McRae, Georgia, he was the son of the late Clifford Reynolds and Eva Webb Reynolds. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jo Williams, Ann Ward, Beulah Fletcher, Lizzie Mae Moore, Evelyn Welch and brothers, Kay, May, Buddy, Jimmy and Jack Reynolds.

Gene dedicated many years as a machinist at Herculese, where he skillfully crafted machine parts. His work was not just a job but a significant part of his life, providing for his family and serving as a testament to his diligence and precision.

Gene is survived by his Loving Daughter - Casey Lynema (Jason) of Brunswick; Grandchildren - Bridgette Wainwright (Bailey), Brandon Lynema (Marissa), Austin Jones (Kirsten), Dalton Jones, and Cassidy Jones; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Midway Church Cemetery on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. The family will receive friends at Lowes Funeral Home prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. Rev. Tommy Joines will officiate.
