Joseph Isaac Marchant

Joseph Isaac Marchant, 90, of Milan, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at his residence.

Joseph was married to Chesterlee Lowery Marchant. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas L. and Roberta Stanley Marchant; a son, Robbie Marchant and a granddaughter, Dichelle McDuffie.

He was a member and a Deacon of Rockwell Baptist Church. He had retired from Armstrong Cork in Macon after 30 years of loyal service and was a farmer.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24 at Rockwell Baptist Church and interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The Rev. Daniel Gilliam and the Rev. Benny Moore will officiate.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. Until 8:00 P.M., Saturday, April 23 at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Chesterlee Lowery Marchant of Milan; 4 children, Tommy (Dianne) Marchant of Milan, Dianne (Ronnie) Walker of Jacksonville, David (Sandy) Marchant of Milan and Laura (David) Phillips of Rebecca; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nancy Williams of McRae and Eva (Charlie) Carmichael of Milan and several nieces and nephews.
