Johnny Carroll Carpenter Jr.

Johnny Carroll Carpenter Jr., 57, of Mount Gilead, North Carolina, died peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, April 8th, 2021.

Johnny was a carpenter by trade. He is preceded in death by his father, Johnny Carroll Carpenter Sr.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 11th, 2021 at the McRae Church of God. The Rev. Brad Purvis will officiate. Interment will be private.

Survivors include his fiancé, Tressy Noles of Mount Gilead, North Carolina; daughter, Anna Carpenter of Milan; mother, Joyce M. Meeks of Helena; step-children, Jennifer (Lance) Brooks of Cleveland, North Carolina and Joseph Noles of Mooresville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Titus Brooks, Hayden Brooks both of Cleveland, North Carolina; brother, Tommy (Shanna) Sheffield of Eastman; nieces and nephews, T.J. (Marissa) Sheffield of Milan, Hope Sheffield of Eastman; Bree Sheffield, Nick Sheffield both of Eastman; his beloved furry animals, cat, Sassy and dog, Banjo.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 10th, 2021, in the funeral home.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family has requested donations be made in his memory to The 30-30 Ministries, P.O. Box 4446, Eatonton, Georgia 31024.
