John Richard "Ricky" Cannon

John Richard "Ricky" Cannon, 72, of McRae, Georgia passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 in Navicent Medical Center in Macon.

Ricky was born August 06,1951 the son of the late Wiley Cannon and Bessie Mae Hilliard Cannon. He was also preceded in death by granddaughters Haley & Desirae Cannon. He was a retired truck driver and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He is survived by his children – Rhonda (J.R.) Johnson of Baxley, Jamie (Kristen) Cannon of Rutherfordton, NC. and John (Jennifer) Cannon of Vidalia; six Grandchildren; Brother – Chester (Shirley) Cannon of Milan. Several Nieces and Nephews also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, November 02, 2023 in the chapel of Lowes Funeral Home with interment on Sand Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. President Ronnie Fields and Brother Tony Berryhill will officiate. The Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in Lowes chapel.
