Jo McRae, 71, of Peachtree City, formerly of Helena, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at her residence.

Jo was preceded in death by her husband Daniel Murphy McRae and her parents, Grady Williams and Janie Register Watson.

She was a member of the McRae First Methodist Church and had worked at Eastman YDC as a Registered Nurse for many years before retiring.

Services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Friday, April 28, 2017 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with interment to follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in McRae.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the chapel on Friday.

The Rev. Jason Dickerson and Wendy Lee will officiate.

Survivors include 3 children, Mary Margaret (Tim) Batcha of Peachtree City, Jane McRae of Atlanta and Daniel M. McRae III of Helena; 2 grandsons, Justin Batcha and Dylan Batcha both of Peachtree City; 2 sisters, Betty (Doug) Brown and Bobbie (Peppi) Espejo both of Orlando, Florida.
