Jean Sheffield Collins

Jean Sheffield Collins, 89, of McRae, died on Friday, September 25th, 2020 in her home after a lengthy illness.

She was a Supervisor with Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp before retirement. Jean was a member of Scotland Baptist Church and formerly a member of Liberty Methodist Church in Macon.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Carlos C. Collins; son, Rickie Becham; parents, John Sheffield and Lula Davis Sheffield and a brother, John Sheffield, Jr.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 27th, 2020 in the Telfair Memorial Gardens in McRae. The Rev. James Hammock will officiate.

Survivors include her 2 sons, Tony (Carrie) Collins and Randy Becham; 2 grandchildren, Courtney (Trey) Williams and Seth Becham; 2 great-grandchildren, Skylar Williams and Everleigh Williams; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to: St. Jude Hospital or to the Community Hospice Foundation, P.O. Box 2277, Vidalia, Georgia 30474.
