Jane Elizabeth Spires

Jane Elizabeth Spires, 81 of Helena, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Tuesday, July 04, 2023 at Fairview Park Hospital. She is preceded in death by her mother, Becky Dykes Beasley.

Ms. Spires was a retired paraprofessional with the Telfair County School system.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Wilmer Franklin Spires of Helena; children, Sandra (Jerry) Johnson of Helena and Donnie (Jennifer) Spires of Helena; grandchildren, Adam Johnson, Caitlin Spires and Natalie Spires.

Visitation will be 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. Wednesday, July 05, 2023 at Lowe's Funeral Home. The funeral service will take place 11 A.M. on Thursday, July 06, 2023 in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Telfair Memorial Gardens. Rev. Roswell Chapman and Rev. Alvin Lewis will officiate.

Flowers will be accepted or donations asked to be made to Helena Baptist Church.
