James Michael Johnson, 56, of Cochran, formerly of Helena, died on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 in the Medical Center in Macon.

Michael was the son of the late Betty Smith Johnson and Roger Johnson. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a small engine machinist

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 20, 2017 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services on Friday in the chapel of the funeral home.

Survivors include his daughter, Kallie Johnson of McRae; companion, Judy Laney of Cochran and her children, Rebecca Gillis of Glenwood and Michael Kersey of Eastman; 7 grandchildren; brother, Chris Johnson; sister, Tammie Johnson; step brother, Robert Johnson.
