Services for James Wayne Johnson of Glenwood, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Glenwood First Baptist Church and interment will be at Glenwood City Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at the Lowe's Funeral Home.

The Rev. Billy Mullis and the Rev. Kevin Hammons will officiate.

Mr. Johnson, age 66, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at the University Hospital in Augusta. He was the son of the late James Maurice and Geneva Sears Johnson of Wheeler County and was married to Gail Guin Johnson of Glenwood.

He was a member of Glenwood First Baptist Church, retired Postmaster of Glenwood, and had served in the National Guard.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Guin Johnson of Glenwood; two children, Jill (Jim) O'Brien of Glenwood and Jeff (Michele) Johnson of Glenwood; three grandchildren, Mallory Johnson, Addyson O'Brien and Gavin Johnson; one brother, Lynn (Gayle) Johnson of Alamo; several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Glenwood First Baptist Church, P.O. Box 536, Glenwood, Georgia 30428.
