James Jefferson "Jeff" Allen

James Jefferson "Jeff" Allen of McRae-Helena, age 62, passed away on June 5, 2024, at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Georgia.

A memorial service to celebrate Jeff's life will be held at McRae Presbyterian Church on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. Lay Minister Norwood Davidson will officiate. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends and family from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the church. Flowers will be accepted however, the family requests that donations be made to McRae Presbyterian Church, 600 W. College St., McRae, Georgia.

Jeff was born on October 10, 1961, in Clearwater, Florida. He was a retired Iron Worker from BE & K Construction. He played sports in his youth and was an avid fan of the Florida Gators. He enjoyed reading his Bible and listening to gospel music. He was a member of McRae Presbyterian Church. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, James Franklin Allen.

He is survived by his mother - Carolyn Allen of Helena; sisters - Candi (Brad) Owens of Eastman and Lisa Allen of Helena; nephews - Ryan Giddens, Josh (Dori) Clark, Travis (Whitney) Clark, Austin Clark and Jared Owens; niece - Kortney (Cory) Boyett. He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
