James Eldridge Hatton, age 83, of Rhine, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Dodge County Hospital.

James was born on April 3, 1941 in Jacksonville, Georgia. He was retired from General Motors where he worked as an Assembly Line Inspector. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Ira Hatton and Emma Sue Walker Hatton and his sister, Charlotte Courson.

He is survived by his brother - John L. Hatton of Rhine, niece – Lisa (Keith) Kessler of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, nephews – Jack (Lisa) Courson of Dixie, Georgia and Mike Williams of Jacksonville, Georgia; great nieces and nephews – Kaitlin Kessler, Kaitlin Williams, Emily Courson, Dianna Courson, Josh Williams, Noah Williams, Enoch Williams, Andrew Kessler and Daniel Kessler.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
