James L Bell of Conyers Ga., formerly of Alamo Ga., passed away on Monday, February 9, 2015, at his home in Conyers. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena, Ga. following visitation of family and friends which will begin at 10:00 am. on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Alamo City Cemetery.

The Rev. Jim Dominey will officiate.

Mr. Bell, 72, was the son of the late Lawson and Maudell Johnson Bell of Alamo, Ga. and was married to Faye Beasley Bell formerly of McRae, Ga.

He was retired from Juki Inc.

Survivors include his wife, Faye Bell of Conyers; 2 children, James L. Bell Jr. of Washington, D.C., and Melinda Faye Johnson and son in law Kevin Johnson of Suwanee; 1 grandson, Cameron John son of Suwanee; 1 brother, Willard Bell of Dublin; 1 sister, Betty Jo Wilkie and brother in law Bob Wilkie of Alamo, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
