Inez Sheffield Floyd, 77, of Helena, died on Monday, September 4, 2017 in the Meadows Regional Medical Center, Vidalia.

Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Dean Floyd; a daughter, Angela K. McCullough; her parents, Eschol John and Susie Farmer Sheffield and a special nephew, Charlie Sheffield.

She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in McRae and was a retired baker.

Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 7th at the Faith Baptist Church in McRae and interment will follow in the Fishing Creek Church Cemetery.

Brother Bill Jones will officiate.

Survivors include her children, Tony Harold (Debbie) Floyd of Helena, Brenda (David) Zimmerman of McRae, Jerry (Bobby) Floyd of McRae, James Ollie Floyd of Helena and Kelly Brett (Michelle) Floyd of McRae; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; special nephew, John Sheffield; special niece, Natasha Sheffield. 1 sister, Mildred Merritt of Douglas.

The family will greet friends from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, September 6 at the funeral home.
