Hunter MC Yawn, 16, of Lumber City, died on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in McRae.

Hunter was born in Dublin, Georgia on April 14, 2003. He was an 11Th Grade Student of Telfair County High School where he was a proud member of the Cross Country Team, Track Team and FFA. A member of Southside Baptist Church and worked each summer with his Uncle Don at Holland Construction. Hunter was preceded in death by his grandfather Bill Holland.

A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Southside Baptist Church with interment to follow in Rockwell Church Cemetery.

The Rev. Darren Talley, Rev. Roswell Chapman and Rev. Benny More will officiate.

Survivors include his Parents – Morgan and Wendy Yawn of Lumber City; Sisters - Faith Yawn and Macy Yawn both of Lumber City; Grandparents – Morgan and Margaret Yawn of Rhine and Madgeline Holland of McRae.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Lowes Funeral Home. The family may be contacted at the home of his Grandmother Mrs. Madgeline Holland in McRae.

The family request donations be made to the Telfair County High School Cross Country Team, 458 South Third Avenue, McRae, Georgia 31055.
