Howard Emerson Parham, 97, of McRae, died on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at McRae Manor Nursing Home in McRae.

Mr. Parham was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Parham and his parents, Keebe and Mary Moon Parham.

He was an Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was an electrician before retiring and was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Athens.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Sunday, June 25th at Lord Stephens Funeral Home, 963 East, Danielsville, Georgia with interment in the Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery, Comer, Georgia. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Sunday.

Survivors include 2 children Robert (Sharon) Parham of Comer and Brenda (Richard) Rich of McRae; 6 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Dora Norman of Chamblee and Charlotte Parham of Comer.
