Horace Morris (H.M.) Stanley, 68, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2014 at his residence in Mary Esther, Florida. He was surrounded by his family in the comfort of his home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 6 at the Cedar Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends and family one hour prior to the services in the church.

H.M. was born in Cedar Grove, Georgia , July 29, 1946, to Horace and Gladys Stanley. He was married to Linda Carol Gramling Stanley.

He was owner and operator of Stanley Utility Contractor, Inc. for nearly 40 years .He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, watching Nascar racing, and hosting family steak night for friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Stanley; mother, Gladys Stanley; father, Horace Stanley; brother, Clyde (PeeWee) Stanley.

Survivors include children, Michael (Cindy) Stanley of Harvest, Al., Dennis (Stacey) Stanley of Lady Lake, Fl., Laura (Bobby) McGee of Navarre, Fl., Lisa (Jeff) Arnett of Ft. Walden Beach, Fl; 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Bailey of Macon; brother, Mark (Zell) Stanley of McRae; sister-in-law, Virgie Stanley of Chauncey.
