Homer Clifford Smith, age 99, of Jacksonville, Florida, died on Thursday, August 29, 2019 in Soperton, Georgia.

Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Keller Smith; his parents, Columbus Smith and Emily Molly Roland Smith. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired with Boeing.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in the Sardis Baptist Church with interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the church.

The Rev. Wayne Bennett will be officiating.

Survivors include his children, Tannya Smith of Ashville, North Carolina and Lisa Fowler; 2 grandchildren, Brian Williams and Jared Williams; 1 great grandson, Kaelan Williams; many nieces and nephews also survive.
