Grady Roberson

Grady Roberson, age 71, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Grady was a retired farmer, a devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who loved his family dearly. He took immense pride in his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always eager to share stories of them and their accomplishments.

A man of deep faith, Grady loved God and took every opportunity to share His word. He was known for his warm personality and never met a stranger, making friends wherever he went.

Grady was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sally Ann Burch Roberson, his parents, Eddie Mack and Evelyn Roberson and his siblings, Eddie Mae Jones, Louise Vaughan, Ann Selph, and Kenneth Roberson.

He is survived by his two sons, Grady Henry Roberson, Jr. (Kristeena) of Eastman and Rogie Roberson (Melissa) of Dudley, both of whom he was extremely proud. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren; Dale Roberson, Rebekah Roberson, Justin Roberson (Brittany), Rhett Roberson (Wimberly), and Sarah Dobbins (Brett), as well as eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Martha Roberson and Debra Wester and brother, Elmer Roberson (Peggy).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the chapel of Lowes Funeral Home in McRae-Helena, followed by the funeral services at 2:00 PM. Rev. Lewis Miller will officiate. Grady will be laid to rest at Friendship Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, Grady requested that donations be made to Grace Baptist Church, 511 Hawkinsville Rd., Eastman, GA 31023.
