Services for Gordon Lee Selph of Helena will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 18 at the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena and burial will be in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 17 at the funeral home.

The Rev. Doyle Connell and the Rev. Danny Joiner will officiate.

Mr. Selph, age 83, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at his residence. He was the son of the late Samuel C. and Eula Mae Cooper Selph of Wheeler County and was married to Letha White Selph of Helena.

He was a member of the McRae Church of God, was a veteran of the Korean War and had retired from the VA Hospital in Dublin.

Survivors include his wife, Letha Selph of Helena; daughter, Deborah Wynne of Helena; son, Dean (Julie) Selph of Helena; grandchildren, Kit Lowery of Atlanta, Kody Wynne of Atlanta, Sarah Selph of Helena and Emily Selph of Helena; brother, John (Betty Jo) Selph of Warner Robins; several nieces and nephews.
