Glenda Ann Barfield, 58, of Scotland, died on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, at the Meadows Park Health & Rehab in Vidalia.

Glenda Ann was married to Raymond Barfield. She attended Alamo Church of God and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Greal Sherman Godsey; 2 brothers, Larry Godsey and Fred Godsey.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, March 9th in the Alamo Church of God and burial will follow in the Scotland City Cemetery. The Rev. Eschol Ryals will officiate.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 8th at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Raymond Barfield of Scotland; mother, Dorothy Godsey of McRae; brothers and sisters, Jr. McKinnon of Douglas, James Godsey of McRae, Johnny Godsey of McRae, Randy (April) Godsey of Milan, Melvitta Varnadoe of Darien, Sheila (Hank) Wilcox of Denton, Wendell Godsey of Alamo and William Godsey of Alamo; brother-in-law, Randall Barfield of Scotland and sister-in-law, Betty (Jack) Cox of Vidalia; 2 step- daughters, Holly Barfield of Hazlehurst and Christie Barfield of Mt. Vernon; numerous nieces and nephews.
