Gladys Logue White

Gladys Logue White, 82, of McRae, died on Tuesday, July 19, 2016, in McRae.

Mrs. White was married to Walter Rivers White and was the daughter of the late Newton Carlos and Della Varnadoe Logue.

She and her husband operated the Gene Theater for many years in McRae. Mrs. White was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and a retired paraprofessional with the McRae Helena School.

Services will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 21 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in McRae.

The family will greet friends from 1:30 PM until 3:00 PM, Thursday, July 21 in the chapel of the funeral home prior to the services.

Survivors include her husband, Walter Rivers White; 2 daughters, Debbie White and Donna (Gary) Hickman; 2 grandsons, Chance Durrence and Lance Hickman; 1 sister, Ottie Lee Knowles all of McRae; several nieces and nephews also survive.
