Geralda Hulett Dover, 78, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, formerly of Jacksonville, Georgia, died on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Pittsboro, North Carolina.

Mrs. Dover was the daughter of the late Everett Hulett and Gladys Covington Smith.

She was a member of the London Bridge Baptist Church of Virginia Beach, VA and retired from Norfork Navel Base Civil Service.

Services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Friday, August 18, 2017 at Blockhouse Baptist Church and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the services in the church.

The Rev. Greg Brittian and Rev. Mike Cook will officiate.

Keith Phillips, Kim Phillips, Kory Smith, Chase Bryan, Darrell Barlow and Chad Morrison will serve as pallbearers.

Survivors include 2 children, Shelia (Greg) Brittian of Mebane, North Carolina and Michael Dover of Virginia Beach, Virginia; 2 grandson, Ryan Brittian and Daniel (Kay Tea) Brittian; 1 great-grandson, Caden Brittian; 2 sisters, Waynie Maloy and Ann (Virgil) Smith both of Jacksonville, Georgia; 2 brothers, Ed (Von) Hulett of Jacksonville, Georgia and William (Wanda) Smith of McRae; several nieces and nephews.
