George Frank Lashley

George Frank Lashley, 72 of McRae, passed away, Saturday, July 01, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Dublin, GA. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Joyce Conley, Resa Boatright, and Dorothy (Becky) Swilley; step-daughter, Tonya White and parents, George Eddie and Mary Pearl Lashley.

Mr. Lashley was a United States Marine Vietnam Veteran and was employed as a Truck Driver with Ocmulgee River Logging.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Lashley; daughter, Shalisa (Kelcey) Edwards of Tampa, FL.; step-children, Toshia White of Helena and Allen White of Helena; 3 grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 1 step great-grandchild; brother, Pete Lashley of Homerville and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 07, 2023 from 10 A.M. – 11 A.M. at New Life Christian Center in Jacksonville, GA. The funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. Burial will take place at Blockhouse Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Darrell Barlow will officiate.
