George Lenwood Lann

George Lenwood Lann, 83, of Helena, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, in Augusta.

Mr. Lann retired from the United States Air Force and with the United States Government Fire Fighter at Warner Robins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Tribble Lann; son, Bobby Lann; grandson, Bobby Joseph Lann; parents, Troy and Thelma Towery Lann.

Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, September 3rd in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Helena City Cemetery.

The Rev. Jeff Tinsley will officiate.

Survivors include 5 children, George (Pat) Lann of Helena, Eva (Thomas) Taylor of Dublin, Gary (Karen) Lann of Helena, James (Cindy) Lann of Helena and Chris Lann of Eastman; 13 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren; companion, Girlie Anderson of McRae.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Friday, September 2nd at the funeral home.
