Gary Marvin Edge, age 71, of McRae, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 29, 2024 at Lumber City Health & Rehab in Lumber City.

Gary was born in McRae, Georgia on March 12, 1952. He retired after 43 years from GA Power- Southern Company. During his time there, he served very well, loved his job and his fellow employees.

He was an Ordained Holiness Minister. He founded and pastored Crossroads Holiness Church located in the Workmore Community of Telfair County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin Willard Edge and Ruby Lee Horton Edge.

He is survived by his wife – Maxine Harris Edge of McRae; Children – Clint Edge of Jacksonville, Colby (Nancy) Edge of Milan and Charity Edge of Eastman; Grandchildren – Amanda Edge, Eric Edge, Cheyenne Edge, Montana Edge and Oaklynn Edge; Brother – Jimmy (Mona) Edge of McRae and a niece and nephew.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 11 A.M. at The Rose of Sharon Graveyard located at 899 Kinnett Rd. Milan, Georgia with Bro. Andy Hickox officiating.
