Fontaine Floyd Brewton, age 91, died on Monday, January 28, 2019 at his residence in McRae-Helena, Georgia.

A native of Old Town, Fla Coach Brewton was a retired Educator and Coach with the Telfair County Board of Education and a member of the Helena United Methodist Church. A Veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his parents Carey Johnson Brewton and Malatha Lockler Brewton and sister Karen DuSapin.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, January 31, 2019 in the Helena United Methodist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

The Rev. Glen Hancock will officiate.

Survivors include His Wife Mary F Williams Brewton of McRae; Son Thad (Karen) Brewton of McRae; Grandchildren Sam Brewton and Bailey Brewton of McRae; Two Sisters Natalie Barfield of Macon and Stephanie (Larry) Swanson of Macon.

The family may be contacted at the Brewer Residence in McRae and will receive friends from 6-8PM of Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Lowes Funeral Home.
