Services for Faye McDonald Murdaugh of McRae will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11 at the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home in Helena with interment at Telfair

Memorial Gardens in McRae.

The Lay Minister Norwood Davidson will officiate.

Murdaugh, 74, died December 9, 2012 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Leroy and Allie Mae Coleman McDonald of Scotland, Ga. and the widow of Leonard Lamar Murdaugh Jr. of McRae.

She was owner and operator of Murdaugh Accounting & Bookkeeping in McRae before retiring and she was a member of the McRae United Methodist Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Randy Murdaugh and Scott Murdaugh both of McRae; 5 grandchildren, Scott McDonald Murdaugh Jr., Josiah Brooks Murdaugh, Brandon Leonard Murdaugh, Andrew Lamar Murdaugh, Kayla Lynn Murdaugh; 1 brother, Bob McDonald of Scotland; 3 sisters, Annie Ruth Alexander of Jekyll Isand, Roy Jane Bowling of Hammond, AZ and Jackie Roberts of Gainsville.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, December 10 at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be given to the Serenity Hospice, 520 Hillcrest Parkway, Dublin, Georgia 31021 or to the McRae United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 8, McRae, Georgia 31055.
