Eunice Humphrey Simmons age 94, of McRae-Helena died Tuesday, November 17, 2020 in Eastman, Georgia.

Eunice was the daughter of the late Thomas Watson Humphrey and Susie Corine Lowey Humphrey. She was the widow of the late Thomas Franklin (TF) Simmons Jr. She was also preceded in death by Grand Daughter Katy Simone Williams; Grandson Toby Dowdy; Great-Granddaughter Kate and Madilyn and Great Grandson Michael, Brothers and Sisters – Lamar, Perry, Paul, Annie Lou, Madie Lee, Statirah, Vondell, Byron Lamar, TW and Willie B. She was the oldest living member of McRae Presbyterian Church and was the manager of the 19 Hole Sandwich Shop at the Wallace Addams Golf Course for many years before retiring.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Held at 3:00 PM Friday, November 20, 2020 from the Graveside in Helena City Cemetery with Lay Minister Norwood Davidson and Rev. Eschol Ryals officiating.

Survivors Include 3 Daughters - Suellen (Jim) Ashley of Helena, Trina Williams of Milan and Tiffany (Buddy) Dowdy of Eastman; Son – Wayne Simmons of Helena; Grandchildren – Jimmy (Janet), TL (Lisa Marie), Carl (Crystal), Lee, Henry (Jenna), AJ(Hannah), Brooks (Porsha), Brett (Amanda), Trenton(Logan), Charity(Misty), Michelle. Great Grandchildren – Britney (Dustin), Cole, Michael, Kimberly(Christopher), Breanna, Chad, Dasan, Abigail, Brian, Luke, Jay, Kyla, Andyana, Lola, Millie, McKhia, Braylon, Bryce, Blake, Ty , Claudia and Dalhia, Jed, Reese, Jules. Great Great Grandchildren Amelia and Parker.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 20, 2020 from 1 – 2:30 PM at Lowes Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted or Donations may be made to the McRae Presbyterian Church.
