Ernest "Ernie" Edward Tucker
Monday, November 6, 1961 – Saturday, December 20, 2025
Ernest "Ernie" Edward Tucker, passed away peacefully at his residence in Scotland, Georgia, on December 20, 2025, at the age of 64. He was born on November 6, 1961, in Eustace, Florida to the late Arthur and Jewel Tucker. He was preceded in death by his brothers-in-law, Wade Watts, Johnny Browning and Clyde Benny Livingston.
A graveside service will be held at Scotland City Cemetery on Monday, December 22, 2025, at 12:00 P.M. with Rev. Brian Fowler officiating. The family will visit with friends at the cemetery one hour prior to the service from 11:00 A.M. - 12:00 PM.
Ernie is survived by his wife, Maria Fowler Tucker of Scotland, his sons, Zade Tucker (Kayla) of McRae and Brad Tucker (Kristian) of Scotland, his grandchildren, Landon, Maverick, and Lawson, brothers Mitchell Tucker (Brenda) of Fitzgerald, and David Tucker (Teresa) of Scotland, sisters Gail Browning of McRae, Juanita Watts of Hazlehurst, Darlene Mason (Wendell) of Lumber City, and several nieces and nephews.
Professionally, Ernie was a dedicated die setter at Husqvarna, where he was known for his strong work ethic and camaraderie with his colleagues. His contributions to the company and the friendships he made there were a significant part of his life.
Ernie's passions extended beyond his work and family. He was an avid fisherman, finding joy in the quiet moments by the water and also loved gardening. Football season was a special time for Ernie, as he reveled in the excitement of the game. All these things he loved but his role as Pop Pop to his precious grandchildren was the one he embraced with every ounce of his being, always ready with a hug.
Ernie's life was one of purpose and joy, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
