Emily Guynell Williams, age 93, of Helena, Georgia, passed away on June 6, 2026, at McRae Manor Nursing Home in McRae, Georgia. She was born on September 11, 1932, in Milan, Georgia, to the late Oris Morrison Pitts and Velma Jackson Pitts.

Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Lowes Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend Roswell Chapman officiating. Interment will follow at Chauncey City Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held in the Chapel one hour prior to the service from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM.

Guynell worked as a paraprofessional in the Telfair County School System, where she was dedicated to helping students succeed. She was a member of Helena Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Jackie Boney (Sammy), Jan Deyo (David), and Larry Williams (Rhonda), all of McRae. She also leaves behind a loving legacy through her grandchildren, Jill Bellflower (Jody), Nikki Boney Gorday (Chad), Brad Williams (Amy), Randy Warren (Jennifer), Jodi Dixon, Emily Warren, and Jenna Roberts (Wes). In addition, she was blessed with 16 great-grandchildren, each of whom added another cherished branch to her family tree. Guynell was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Williams and her daughter, Gina Warren.

Emily Guynell Williams will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.
