Ellene Owens Dykes

Ellene Owens Dykes, 66, of Helena, died on Tuesday, August 10th, 2021 at her home.

Ellene was the bookkeeper at Morgan Window and Glass for many years and was a member of New Bethel Church. She is preceded in death by a son, Reed "Mochie" Dykes; parents, Gordon and Sara Haynes Owens; brother, Gary Owens; nephew, Chris Walls.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, August 15th, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. in the New Bethel Church with interment following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Darrell Colter and the Rev. Andy Williams will be officiating.

The family will receive friends and family from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 14th, 2021 in Lowe's Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Johnny Dykes; 3 children, Joey Dykes, Roxanne Dykes, Ned Dykes all of Helena; grandchildren, Erika Dykes, Brooke Dykes, Sara Brooks, Collin Dykes, Dayton Dykes, Tristin Dykes, William Dykes, Steve Dykes, Britney Dykes; sister, Karen (Gary) Lann of Milledgeville;stepson, Mitchell Dykes of Waynesboro; 3 great-grandchildren; niece, Amy Walls; very special daughter-in-law, Didi Dykes; several nieces and nephews.
