Ellen McIntyre Wood, age 82, of Helena, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in Alamo.

Ellen was a member of the Helena Baptist Church and had retired from Bowen's Jewelers and Gifts, McRae.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Eugene Wood; parents, Archie and Jimmie Spires McIntyre; 1 sister, Christine Pittman; 1 brother, Zan McIntyre.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 17 at the funeral home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 18 at the Helena City Cemetery.

The Rev. Jeff Tinsley will officiate.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Shirley (Lynn) McNeal of Alamo, Louise (Ricky) Mullis of Dexter; 2 sons, Bob (Jill) Wood of McRae and Bill (Gwen) Wood of McRae; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
