Ellen Beverly McPherson Gillis, 82, died on Thursday, July 25, 2019 in the Fairview Park Hospital, Dublin.

She was a Homemaker and retired a CNA .

Ellen is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Tillman Gillis; and her parents, Carrie Harness McPherson and Kelly McPherson.

Services will be held on Sunday, July 28, 2019 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home and interment will follow in the Turn Pike Cemetery.

Minister George Lee and Mr. Philip Farris will officiate.

Survivors include her 8 children, Rosa Lee Dirrigle of Raleigh, NC, Jeffrey T. Gillis of Springfield, MO,

Wendell Mark (Debbie) Gillis of Bradenton, FL, Willie Edward (Staci) Gillis of Bradenton, FL, Stanley Mack (Sheila) Gillis of Bradenton, FL, Vanessa Gillis, of McRae, Mary Ann Gillis of McRae, Sue Ellen Gillis of McRae; 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters, Wilda (Watson) Hurst of Flowery Branch, GA, Terry Burcham of Bradenton, FL, Julie (Calvin) Reed of Bradenton, Fl; 1 brother, Forrest (Debbie) McPherson of Bradenton, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, July 27th at the funeral home.
