Ella Mizell Godsey, 55, of Milan, died on Friday, July 19, 2019 at her residence.

Mizell worked at Husqvarna for 26 years before retiring and she was a member of Central Grove Church of God.

She was preceded in death by husbands, Larry Godsey and James Bohannon, which she loved dearly; son, James Roy Godsey Jr; parents, Helen Bennett Harris and Andrew Leo Harris; and a brother, Arthur Harris.

Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, July 22nd in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with interment in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Rev. James Merritt will officiate.

Survivors include her daughter, Heather (R.L.) Wilkerson of Fitzgerald; son, John Cory Godsey of Milan; 3 grandchildren, Rhett Wilkerson, Jacob Wilkerson, Jamie Dowdy Jr.; several nieces and nephews survive including Christy Floyd, Helen Dowdy, Andrew Leo Harris III, Richard Leonard Harris; 3 brothers, Gary Harris of McRae, Andy Harris and Alan Harris both of Milan.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 21st at the funeral home.
