Elizabeth M. Johnson

Elizabeth Johnson, age 76, of Helena, died Tuesday, November 15, 2016, in Jacksonville, Georgia.

Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, Georgia Johnson and her parents, Melvin and Juanita Selph Hood Padgett. She worked 15 years at McRae Manor Nursing Home as a CNA before retiring.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM., Wednesday, November 16 at the Scotland City Cemetery. The Rev. Darrell Barlow will officiate.

The family will greet friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM, Wednesday, November 16 at Lowe's Funeral Home before going to the Graveside services.

Survivors include 2 children, Debra (Johnny) Bohannon of Jacksonville and Mitchell (Liz) Johnson of Lumber City; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 2 half sisters, Shirley Horton of Jacksonville and Faye Vaughn of McRae; companion, Horace Studstill of Helena.
