Edna Lowie Howard

Edna Lowie Howard, 91, of Helena died Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the Dodge County Hospital.

Mrs. Edna was preceded in death by her husband James Truette Howard Sr., parents, W.O. Lowie and Rilla Mae Lowie and sister JoAnn Lowie Selph.

Mrs. Edna was born in Abbeville, GA and was a High School graduate. She was employed by Allied Department Store where she was a Store Manager.

Mrs. Edna is survived by her 3 children; Patricia (Donnie) Brown, James "Jimmy" Truette (Janie) Howard Jr. and Ken (Harriett) Howard all of Helena. Also survived are 6 Grandchildren and 20 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 23, 2021 in the Chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. The service will take place at 11A.M. Burial will follow and take place at Helena City Cemetery.

Rev. Roswell Chapman and Rev. Bobby Joe Ryals will officiate.

The family respectfully asks due to Covid, no food is to be brought. The family will accept flowers and ask that any donations be made to Helena Baptist Church in honor of Mrs. Edna.

Lowe's Funeral Home respectfully asks all in attendance wear mask and attend social distancing guidelines.
