Obituary

Edith Kaye Lann

Monday, August 1, 1955 - Sunday, July 12, 2026

Edith Kaye Lann, age 70, of Eastman, Georgia, passed away on July 12, 2026, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta. Kaye was born on August 1, 1955 in McRae Georgia to the late Robert Zan McIntyre and Carolyn Hunter McIntyre. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose life was marked by devotion to her family.

Funeral Services will be held at the Chapel of Lowes Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Jim Fennell officiating. Interment will follow at Baysprings Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at Lowes Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 6 PM - 8 PM.

Kaye was a homemaker, and she embraced that role with grace, care, and steadfast love. She found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and rarely missed the opportunity to cheer them on at their ball games. A devoted Georgia Bulldogs football fan, she also enjoyed gathering with her sisters for their weekly Tuesday meals. Family meant everything to her, and she looked forward to celebrating Christmas, Easter, birthdays, and other special occasions together. She was known for enjoying a Pepsi and a Honey Bun for breakfast and found simple pleasure in cutting her grass, one of her favorite things to do.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Larry Lann of Eastman; her son, Larry Jason Lann (Candi) of Eastman; her grandchildren, Hailey Arnold of Cochran, Sara Lann of Eastman, and Jason Lann of Tifton; and her great-grandson, Thomas Arnold of Cochran. She is also survived by her sisters, Kathy Fennell (Jim) of Rentz, Cindy Gore of Eastman, and Carol Holt of Milan, along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carolyn McIntyre, and by her brother, Wayne McIntyre.

Kaye's legacy lives on in the family she cherished and in the many memories shared by those who were blessed to know her. She leaves behind a family who will continue to honor her memory with gratitude, affection, and enduring love.
