Ed Dukes

Graveside services for Ed Dukes, of McRae, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014, at Green Lawn Cemetery, 846 Soperton Highway, Eastman. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21 at Lowe's Funeral Home.

The Rev. Randall Gibbs will officiate.

Ed, age 78, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2014, in Glenwood. He was the son of late William Marshall and Grace Cash Dukes of Eastman and was married to Betty Maddox Dukes of McRae.

He had retired from Holland Chevrolet, as the service manager; and had served in the United States Army.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Dukes of McRae; 3 children, Brady (Jennifer) Dukes of Milan, Charles (Marsha) Dukes of Irwinton and Tony Holland of McRae; 2 step-children, Mike (Cindy) Jump of Ridgeway, VA. and Keith (Melissa) Jump of Dublin; 1 sister, Betty Cadwell of Warner Robins; 9 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and many friends.
