Doris Dopson Mitchell, 54, of Jacksonville, Georgia, died on Saturday, April 7, 2018. She was born on September 17, 1963, and was the daughter of the late John Edward Dopson and the late Vivian Dopson Garrett. She loved her family very much. She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Michael Jack Mitchell.

She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Bumford (Jacqueline); grandson, Thomas L. Bumford; sister, Jennifer Williamson; 3 brothers, Jed (Linda) Dopson, Ted (Darlene) Dopson, Charlie (Belinda) Dopson; and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7: P.M. on Friday, April 13, at Lowe's Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services in the chapel of Friday, April 13.
