Donnie Earl "P-Nut" McVey, Jr.

Donnie Earl McVey Jr., age 46, known affectionately as "P-Nut," passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Dodge County Hospital in Eastman, Georgia. He was born on Monday, June 12, 1978, in McRae, Georgia.

Donnie was a self-employed truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father -Donny Earl McVey, Sr.; sister - Cassi Hart; and grandfathers - Charles McVey Sr. and Pete Justice.

He leaves behind his wife - Haley McVey of Helena; his children – Brittany McVey, Brianna McVey, Brandon McVey, Peyton McVey, Riley McVey and Shane Adams; his grandchildren - LylaBeth Lee and Cohen McVey. He is also survived by his mother - Melody Graham of Eastman; stepmother - Elaine McVey of McRae; sister - Jodi Batchelor (Michael) of Helena; grandmothers - Dot McVey of McRae and Carolyn Justice of Eastman.

The family will receive friends at Lowes Funeral Home on Thursday, August 1, 2024, from 6 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, August 2, 2024, at 10 AM in the chapel of Lowes Funeral Home, with Eric Jarrard officiating. Following the service, interment will take place at Telfair Memorial Gardens.
