Diane Patricia Smith departed for heaven from the North East GA Hospital in

Gainesville GA on July 4, 2018.

Diane was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Carlton Smith, Her Father,

Carlton (C.O.) Smith and Mother, Vauneta White Smith.

Survivors include (Sister) Patsy Smith Padgett, (Brother) Johnny O

Smith, (Sister) Janice Smith and (Sister) Cindy Smith Powell.

The Rev. L.S. Seabolt and the Rev. David Deen officiated the funeral.

Pallbearers were Freddy Padgett, Russell Owens, Scott Parrott, Jamie

Schaeffer, William "Bo" Powell and Dane Padgett.

Danny Carlton Smith JR served as Honorary Pallbearer.

Songs chosen were "I Can Only Imagine", "A Whole New World" and a recording

of Diane singing "Jesus Loves Me" for the closure.

Internment was received at the Telfair memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Family members gathered at the Smith's Homestead afterwards to fellowship

and celebrate the life of Diane.

Although her natural lifetime was 68, her sweet spirit was ageless.

God graced the world just by bringing her into it and she blessed her family

with much laughter, understanding and great love.

She was a special child of God and we thank him for allowing us to be her family.
