Dennis L. Dykes Sr. age 71 of Scotland, Georgia died Tuesday, June 6, 2017 in the Dodge County Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday, June 9, 2017 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial in Dodges Chapel Cemetery.

The Rev. Ray Harris will be officiating.

Mr. Dykes was born July 4, 1945 in Telfair County Georgia to the late John and Susie Powell Dykes. He was a retired Dry Wall Contractor and loved to sing.

Survivors include One Daughter - Kim (Terry) Hilliard of Rhine; Two Sons – Dennis Dykes Jr. of Scotland and Rocky (Cindy) Dykes of Spotsylvania, Va.; Two Sisters – Madgeline Holland of McRae and Ann Bell of Macon; 9 Grandchildren and 15 great Grandchildren survive.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 8, 2017 from 6 – 8 PM at Lowe's Funeral Home.
