Dave Maurice Williams II, of McRae, GA

Dave was born February 12, 1963 in McRae, GA and died suddenly on July 11, 2020.

He is survived by his parents, Grady & Emma Jean Williams of McRae, GA, his brother, John Williams (Katharine), nieces Emma Kate Williams & Lauren Williams, and nephew Henry Williams of Dublin, GA.

Dave graduated from Middle Georgia College and the University of Georgia with a BS degree. He was employed by the State of Georgia Department of Human Resources in McRae. Dave was a tree farmer and a collector of antique vehicles. He was a member of the Helena United Methodist Church where he enjoyed singing and was the song leader. He was known in his community for his love of his family, friends, his love of the Lord, and his humble servants heart. Gardening was Dave's particular passion and he spent a great deal of time in his yard creating a beautiful landscape. His other affections, were for his dogs, Molly & Lady.

A service celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, July 14th at 10:00 A.M. in the Oak Grove Cemetery. The Pastor Gregg Soles and the Pastor Amy Carter will officiate. Masks will be required and available.

The family will receive friends and family from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, July 14th

in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home. Masks will be required and available.
