Danny Settles, lovingly known as “Danny Boy,” passed away at his residence in Milan, Georgia on October 13, 2026, at the age of 66.

Born on August 29, 1960, in Crestview, Florida, Danny will be remembered with love by those who knew him and shared in his life. His passing brings sorrow to his family and friends, who hold close the memory of his life and the bond they shared with him.

Graveside Services will be held at Milan City Cemetery on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 1:00 P.M. with Ken Lowery officiating. The family will visit with friends at the graveside following the service. 

He is survived by his brothers, Gerald Settles (Linda), of Helena, and Richard Settles of Hazlehurst; and by his sisters, Cheryl Ann Gomez of Williston, Florida and Susan Roberson of Brunswick, Georgia. He also leaves behind Ken Lowery and his wife, Iris, who were special friends to Danny for many years. Each of them carries forward treasured memories of Danny and the place he held in their lives. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Donald Hamilton Settles and Javene Brown Settles, and his sister, Brenda Kay Pugh.

Danny will be remembered with affection and missed deeply by his family and friends. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who knew and loved him.
