Comer Wilson Morrison, age 79, of Alamo, died at his residence on Friday, January 27, 2017.

Comer was the son of the late Rev. Columbus Alexander Morrison and Bessie Mae Andrews Morrison and was married to Willa Jean Seabolt Morrison. He was a member of the McRae United Methodist Church and retired from Northrop Grumman. Comer served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 28 at the Grimes Family Cemetery.

The Rev. L.S. Seabolt will officiate.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Morrison of Alamo; 2 children, Teresa M. Shrewsbury of Perry and Kevin (Scarlet) Morrison of Lumber City; 4 grandchildren, Sydney Shrewsbury of Alamo, Grace Shrewsbury of Perry, Mae Morrison of Lumber City and Kelly (Vic) Hutcheson of Savannah; 2 brothers, Carlton (Beth) Morrison of St. Simon Island and Wesley Morrison of Hazlehurst.
