Charles Leroy Smith

Charles Leroy Smith, of Jacksonville, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at the Jeff Davis Hospital in Hazlehurst.

Leroy, age 60, was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Lee and Odessa Connell Smith.

He had been a welder for many years.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 3 in the chapel of Lowe's Funeral Home with burial in the Rockwell Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday, March 2 at the funeral home.

Survivors include 3 sisters, Linda S. (Charlie) Jones of Jacksonville, Gail S. (Jimmie) Ridings of Live Oak, Ga., and Nora (John) Helman of Brooksville, Fl; 1 brother, Robert (Sylvia) Smith of Helena; several nieces and nephews.
